AutoCAD(R) Architect Using AutoCAD(R) 2002 is a web-based introduction to AutoCAD 2002(R). The online course uses a well-organized, easy-to-follow method to present the AutoCAD commands, giving users a solid foundation in AutoCAD. Short videos highlighting the steps to complete a command are included in the online lessons. The lessons are supported with examples and applications to the field of architecture. Projects that allow users to practice and master the AutoCAD commands are presented after each section of instruction.

The online course presents command information in small, manageable lessons. The content for each lesson is presented in the same format, allowing for continuity of instruction. Numerous graphics are used to provide visual support for the information. This consistency in format creates a more comfortable learning environment, allowing the user to focus on the content rather than the presentation.

The course allows users to begin drawing almost immediately. It then builds on the basic skills, allowing the user to create more complex drawings and to complete those drawings more efficiently.

A glossary of terms is provided for each lesson to help develop the user's knowledge of the terminology as well as the commands. Course Companion to AutoCAD(R) Architect Using AutoCAD(R) 2002

The print supplement provides reinforcement of the basic concepts presented in the online course. Each lesson glossary is included for reference. Information on completing each project is also included, allowing the user to practice and master the AutoCAD skills when offline.
