Puntos de partida offers one of the most comprehensive video programs of any Introductory Spanish program. For each main chapter of the text, there are five distinct video segments available on DVD to show in class as well as within Centro for students to view outside of class. Each video segment serves a distinct purpose and was developed for specific language-learning goals introduced in the text and practiced in the workbook and lab manual. The total running time of the Puntos de partida video program is approximately five hours; and there are additional video activities in the Instructor's Manual for instructors wishing to use and assign the videos at a greater frequency.
