The purpose of this Handbook is to provide consice, supplemental reading material for attendees of the Field Management of Chemical Casualties Course. This resource provides an explanation of many chemical and biological threat weapons that the U.S. military faces and provides some answers for possible treatments as part of the mission of health service support to chemical casualties. Military physicians as well as some emergency room physicians that may be confronted with these toxic chemicals from incoming patients may find this guidance useful in every day emergency management crisis situations.
