Meet Alex Huggins - a meek and timid young woman with an affinity for journaling. Times have been tough recently for Alex. Not long ago a tragic car accident took the life of her mother and left her father gravely injured. With her spirit broken and her family torn apart Alex turns to Sam, her childhood friend, for support. Sam's lively and care-free attitude is something that Alex has often envied.
