JAMES S. REED is Professor of Ceramic Engineering at the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. Dr. Reed has been the recipient of many awards for research and teaching including, most recently, the Outstanding Educator in Ceramic Engineering Award of the American Ceramic Society. Among his numerous publications is Introduction to the Principles of Ceramic Processing, First Edition, also published by Wiley.
