This program will describe peripheral arterial lines, including rationale for their use, equipment needed for their cannulation, and pre- and post-placement assessments. In addition, setting a hemodynamic monitoring system will be both demonstrated and explained, with a focus on zeroing and calibrating the equipment as well as recognizing the different types of waveforms.
