Author:
Evans, Charles
Charles Evans was born in St Asaph, North Wales in 1959 before moving to Stockport in Cheshire at the age of seven where he lived until joining the Royal Navy in 1976. During the next 101/2 years he served on several warships and shore establishments before finally ending his military service in 1986 as a Petty Officer Caterer. He saw active service during the Falklands War in 1982 on the Type 22 Frigate HMS Brilliant where his primary role during action stations was as a Medic covering the bridge, upper deck and operations room and was ashore during the latter stages of the operation to take back South Georgia supporting ground forces. He is a holder of the South Atlantic Medal with Rosette.
After working in operations and supply chain management within the pharmaceutical industry for many years he took a short career break and travelled extensively to locations within the UK, the Falkland Islands and to other locations across the world to research the key elements of the story. Falklands Revenge is his debut novel.
He now lives in Gloucestershire with his wife Jackie and is a member of the Royal British Legion, South Atlantic Medal Association and is an active supporter of military charities to which donations will be made by the author from the proceeds of this book.
