Visual Studio 2005 Hacks

AUTHOR Avery, James
PUBLISHER O'Reilly Media (01/01/2001)
PRODUCT TYPE Paperback (Paperback)

Description
Visual Studio is one of the most widely used developer's toolkit on the market today. If you're like many developers, you haven't bought a book on Visual Studio because this IDE is easy to master without formal instruction. But Visual Studio 2005 is very customizable, with a wealth of little-used capabilities, a complete automation model, and much more. On top of the regular feature set are hosts of free add-ins, macros, and power toys that can further enhance its functionality. These capabilities are hard to pick up by trial and error.

""Visual Studio 2005 Hacks"" offers a unique collection of tips, tricks, and hacks that enable you to go far beyond the suite's standard features. This new edition has been thoroughly updated to cover refactoring, code snippets, new templates and visualizers, and more. The book contains 25 new Hacks and, unlike competing books, covers third party tools such as Dotfuscator and VSZoom, as well as tools that ship with the product.
