This Modern Parent's Edition of Alice is meant to unlock the joy and wonder of Carroll's world for young listeners and readers alike. It has been very gently adapted by K.N. Kind to preserve all of the original story, major characters, and much of the original beautiful language about identity and the trials of growing up.

This version is not meant to replace the original, but rather to create an entry point for first time listeners who might otherwise have trouble following along. The wonderful original illustrations by John Tenniel are included as well.
