Students will act out this fictional story of a boy named Danny who discovers a trunk that contains artifacts from the American Revolutionary War. By looking through historical items, Danny tries to solve the mystery of who fired the first shot in Lexington that started the Revolutionary War. Readers will take a glimpse into United States history while following along. This Reader's Theater script features roles written to match multiple reading levels.
