The Brunswick Herald was a four-page, weekly newspaper. The front page usually consisted of business cards and general entertainment articles. Subsequent pages contained advertisements and legal notices, local general and personal news, obituaries, marriage announcements, and some national and international news. Columns of local interest were submitted by reporters in various towns in Frederick County and surrounding counties of Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. Although some entries in this book contain the complete original article, many are shortened abstracts. The articles are presented in chronological order with a full name index.
