Author: Ottens, Allen J.
Allen J. Ottens, PhD, received his doctorate from the University of Illinois-Urbana. He is currently Associate Professor of Counseling at Northern Illinois University and a licensed clinical psychologist in Illinois. He worked as a psychologist at Cornell University's Psychological Services Center and at the Counseling and Student Development Center at Northern Illinois University. One of his areas of professional interest is crisis intervention on the college campus.
