This book is about a dream. In the dream I came to know that this dream can come true. It was a dream about described to me what IBM needs to do to become # 1 again in the Information Technology Industry. And, so I was compelled to write this book: I Had a Dream that IBM Could Be # 1 AgainI had a dream. I am not kidding. It was less than a week ago after I had prepared my newest book, Thank You IBM for sale on Kindle. IBM was on my mind for some reason. With 23 years of employment at IBM, I have a lot of recollections of Big Blue that come back to me too often when I am sleeping. This was a nice IBM dream. It had an impact on me. I think IBM can do it.In this new dream after 23 years of IBM, I was thinking about how special it was to be part of IBM over the years. To be favored with a job with IBM was impressive unto itself. I dreamt that IBM could be #1 again and it start by making its employees feel like I felt while working for this great company during the Watson years. Besides a profound change in management philosophies which I will explain. IBM needs a secret weapon to become #1 again. The good news is IBM has that weapon and it would not take much to deploy it. This books tells what the weapon is; where it came from; why this weapon is so great; and how IBM can use it to definitely become #1 again.
