This is the first volume of Ioannis Zonarae's Annalles, a 12th century Byzantine historian and theologian, translated into Latin by Joannes Zonaras. It covers the period from the creation of the world to the reign of the Macedonian dynasty in the 10th century CE. The translation includes annotations by Moritz Pinder and Theodor Büttner-Wobst.
