This unique compilation of descriptions, pictures and various other data describes the Army's Second Service Command of WWII which included Delaware, New Jersey, and New York. Like the preceding volumes for other service commands, the organization is by state and then by Army Ground Forces, Army Air Forces, Army Service Forces, and POW camps. The material was drawn from actual field observations and our own photography where possible, interviews, and visits to various bases, posts, and camps, military museums, historical societies, and local libraries. . .. as well as the internet.
