This is the third book in the Bentley book series, in this story a new character is introduced whom is the focus of this story. Mr. Gimples, a mixed breed small dog with bugged out eyes and a pushed in snout, wrinkly skin with no fur, he has tuffs of long hair on his head, feet, chin and back, he is a strange looking dog with a big heart. Mr. Gimples moves to a dog town called Roverton where is targeted by a group of shepherd dogs that tease and bully him because of how he looks. Eventually, after weeks of their relentless bullying, he becomes too scared to leave his house. His only friends in town, Bentley and Hachi, find out about the bullying Mr. Gimples has endured from the shepherd dogs and vow to protect him. One day the shepherd dogs find them-selfs in trouble, without hesitation, Mr. Gimples saves the shepherd dogs even though they have tormented and bullied him. Because of Mr. Gimples heroics, the shepherd dogs never bullied another dog again.
