Alfred (Fred) Gordon moved from Nokesville, VA to Forest Hill, MD with his wife, Kathy, in Oct 06. He is a retired chemical engineer. As a member of the Gideons International he speaks frequently at churches in Harford County about the Gideons ministry that distributes Bibles and little NTs worldwide to 187 countries and in over 80 languages. He spoke in churches in Prince Wm County, VA for 10 years. Fred accepted Christ as Savior and Lord at age 40 in a Baptist church in Woodbridge, VA. His wife, Kathy, supports the Gideon ministry as an auxiliary member. Fred enjoyed teaching Christian lifestyle principles from Gods Word weekly at the PW County jail in Manassas, VA for 7 years. Fred also served on the Exec Board of the Care Net crisis pregnancy centers of PW and Fauquier counties for 5 years (until Sept 06). Fred believes that the Blessed Assurances are a basic foundation of our faith in Jesus Christ and His Word, the Holy Bible.
