Description
Apollo and Dionysus is a philosophical book written by Edouard Schure. The book explores the contrasting aspects of human nature, represented by the Greek gods Apollo and Dionysus. Apollo is the god of light, order, and reason, while Dionysus is the god of darkness, chaos, and emotion. Schure argues that these two forces are necessary for human balance and growth. The book delves into the mythological stories of these gods and their impact on human culture, art, and philosophy. Schure also discusses the role of these forces in the lives of individuals and societies, and how they can be used to achieve harmony and enlightenment. Overall, Apollo and Dionysus is a thought-provoking exploration of the human psyche and its relationship with the divine.THIS 54 PAGE ARTICLE WAS EXTRACTED FROM THE BOOK: From Sphinx to Christ: An Occult History, by Edouard Schure.
