The known archaeology pertaining to the Ninth Legion gathered into a single archive, illustrated where possible by digital images, associated maps and other artefacts. By considering evidence from known sites, camps, forts and battles of the Legio VIIII Hispano and adding some GIS mapping of their plans and location, it concludes with an analysis of credible theories for the Legion's mysterious disappearance with some thoughts and conclusions on their reliability.
