As You Like It is a play written by William Shakespeare, believed to have been written in 1599. The play is a pastoral comedy, set in the Forest of Arden. The story revolves around Rosalind, the daughter of Duke Senior, who is banished from the court by her uncle Duke Frederick. Rosalind disguises herself as a boy named Ganymede and flees to the forest with her cousin Celia.
