Author: Lopuz, Bernard
Bernard Lopuz is currently a senior technical support analyst at Oracle Corporation. In the early years of his IT career before he became an Oracle database administrator, he was a programmer developing Unisys Linc and Oracle applications, as well as IVR (interactive voice response) applications, such as telephone banking voice processing applications. He has wide experience using RedHat AS and Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL). Bernard is the technical reviewer of RMAN Recipes for Oracle Database 11g: A Problem-Solution Approach (Apress, 2007), and a certified Oracle professional (OCP). He is pursuing a master's degree in computer information technology at Regis University in Denver, Colorado, and completed a bachelor's degree in computer engineering at the Mapua Institute of Technology in Manila, Philippines. Bernard lives in Toronto, Canada, together with his wife, Leizle, and daughters, Juliet and Carol.
