Catou's aunt is very busy since the opening of Au p'tit bonheur canin, her new dog grooming salon. Luckily, Catou and her friend Maya, love puppies.

It's a new school year and things haven't been great for Catou so far. She's being teased, and her best friend Maya is in a different class. But things start to look up when her Aunt Janine opens a kennel and dog-grooming salon, and the girls are allowed to help out with a puppy named Choco The girls do such a great job that Aunt Janine asks them to come back and help again in the future. They decide to start a scrapbook of their favourite puppies so they can be ready for the day they get to adopt one themselves
