Owly just wants to lend a helping hand to his fellow woodland creatures, but they are all too afraid of him because he is an owl! Being mean and scary just isn't in his nature, but an owl is an owl, as far as everybody else is concerned. When Owly rescues Wormy from drowning in a puddle, his life starts to turn around. Wormy isn't scared of Owly; he is grateful to him for saving his life and what's more, he needs his help finding the way back home! As Owly's friendship with Wormy blossoms, so too do his relationships with other animals in the forest. A tender graphic novel for young readers about preconceived notions, bucking stereotypes, and the healing power of friendship.
