Matthew moved from film producing and editing to desktop 3D printing after he shot a short documentary for MakerBot that featured an inspiring pair of high school makers. His decade of experience supporting and collaborating with filmmakers (such as Godfrey Reggio, Steven Soderbergh, Michael Moore) and artists (such as Kara Walker, Monica Weiss, and Takeshi Murata) helped him offer the emerging MakerBot Community the resources it needed on the blog, in the classroom, or in hackerspaces throughout the country, to execute wild, ambitious ideas in solid plastic. He is currently the Director of Community Support & Evangelism at Adafruit Industries.
