John Coniglio characterizes himself as a foot soldier fighting in allegiance to our Lord Jesus Christ, and he desires to be counted worthy. He works as a senior managing editor in the higher education division of Kendall/Hunt Publishing Company. When asked what drove him to write The Godspeak Chronicles trilogy, John replied, "The architects of our popular culture are constantly searching, imagining, and bringing to market more and more fantastic stories, villains, and heroes in epic struggles of good versus evil, little realizing that the ultimate war finds its origin in the pages of the Word of God." In 1994, his first fiction novel, Rumors of Angels, was released through Harvest House Publisher. John now resides in Southern California with his wife and son, the family cat, and two golden retrievers.
