This book brings together the proceedings and debates held at the symposium titled "Generation of the Companions, from the Age of Ignorance to the Islamic Society." This period is believed to be when change occurred from the "age of ignorance" in Arabian society to the age of morality, monotheism, and unity. The companions were disciples and followers of the prophet Mohammad. The papers cover a wide range of topics, including but not limited to the impact of the prophet on the companions, the role of companions in shaping Islamic society, and their activities.
