Editor:
Richardson, Martin
Born in Portsmouth in 1965, Martin followed in the family tradition, at least for the past five generations of serving King, Queen and Country. On leaving the army after active service in Northern Ireland, Africa and the Middle East he completed his degree in History specialising in the Holocaust, visiting a vast majority of the atrocities first hand. His second degree is in Education Studies from the early nineteenth century to modern day.
His thirst for knowledge continued, gaining a Masters in Business Management: he is currently reading for a PhD in military education at his home town university. To support his vocation he lectured at the Army Technical Foundation College (Winchester) on the history of the Army from South Africa to modern day Afghanistan and when he is not working he can often be found in some corner of a foreign field especially if it is in Northern Europe continuing his own research.
Martin ascertains that the pen or rather the keyboard is mightier than the sword unless of course you are dueling with either of these two instruments.
