This book deals with all that happened in the final weeks of Jesus ministry including the week of his crucifixion. It also comments on the works of the apostles in Jerusalem up to the martyrdom of Steven. The chapters are divided in three sections each with a central theme. The studies begin with some preparatory questions. Their purpose is to introduce the student to the lesson. There is a Bible passage for reading, but rather that just interpret the passage the lesson deals with points that might need further explanation or are difficult to understand. Each lesson ends with another group of questions. The first of them are on the lesson itself ("Questions on the lesson"). The second section opens new areas of exploration on the passage. The purpose of the three volumes is to lead the student through the development of Christ's saving work int the whole New Testament.
