The book Ueir vathai contains ten Tamil short stories. Most of them recently written. The term ueir vathai can be expressed sacrifice of a goat or any animals, birds for the village guardian deities . Most of the stories have developed from the happenings of our day to day life . Sacrifice of goat, ignorance of periodical health checkup, heavy weights of religious thoughts, unauthorized photo snaps, freedom of birds, honor for hard work and a revenge of love are themes of the stories.
