Elementary Persian for non-Heritage learners of Persian (Farsi) The aim of this book is to teach Persian to the beginners especially to the non-heritage learners of Persian. The book includes thirty lessons. It covers a lot of necessary information that a beginner needs to know when learning Persian such as Persian alphabet, basic grammars( to be, to have, the simple present and past tenses, imperative sentences, propositions, possessions, question words, adverbs of frequency, inflection, word order ), essential words, adjectives, numbers, directions, family, job, greetings, Iranian culture, ..... . Please see the contents of the book. Language learners lean about four hundred and forty Persian words. I have been teaching language (English and Persian) in Iran and abroad ( UK, and Switzerland) for sixteen years. Teaching learners form different countries helped me to find the main problems that beginners might have in learning Persian. I also considered distance learning especially using Skype. This led me to add extra information so that language learners might use it immediately. The main technique I employ to teach Persian is to provide different tasks and various exercises so that language learners will have the great chance to immediately use what they have learnt. This book helps beginners to improve their speaking, writing, and reading skills.
