This is the second collection of Dr. Kunjappu's essays in Malayalam (a well-known Indian language). The author's penchant for expressing bold opinions on diverse topics which are relevant to the social and literary landscape of his country in general and applicable to his community in particular, is clearly reflected in this collection. Not that the book does not contain analysis of issues that are of concern in a global sense. Some of the essays follow a nut and bolt approach, and delineate many sensitive issues such as the fission of social and communal organizations and women's awakening through literature.
