Zakat, like Praying, has been ordered in all godly religions and Islam holy religion considers praying and Zakat as means of redemption and salvation of believers. Moreover, Zakat has been emphasized in many Hadiths and narrative texts. Zakat Revival involves the process of identifying obstacles and harms of Zakat, attempting to remove the limitations, endeavor to spend the collected Zakat for the appropriate uses. It might be said that Zakat, regarding its value and territory, leads to eradication of poverty in the society. The current research aims at identifying internal and external harms of Zakat from the viewpoint of Quran, and through presenting techniques and suggestions for preventing or decreasing these harms and also teaching and informing about their dangerous consequences, it helps the Islamic society in preventing the marginalization of this holy command.
