Seeking a life free of past burdens and losses, Joseph Travers moves to the northern most point of the Big Island, into a house left to him by his Uncle Alfred. As he strives to make a recluse of himself, he meets up with his cousin, an atypical doctor as well a good old hound dog named Blue along the way.
