The first edition of this book was widely accepted as a reference text in the field of water treatment. This edition has added new knowledge and information updates with regards to water industry, quality control, control of water usage, resource preservation and water resource administration. All the example problems in the book were further illustrated by computer programs, coded using Visual Basic .NET 10. This addition should make the book more practical and of wide acceptance for modelers and environmental engineers who will make use of the code snippets included within the text.
