Poet and picture book author Rebecca Kai Dotlich has written several children's books, including Grandpa Loves, illustrated by Kathryn Brown; Over in the Pink House: New Jump-Rope Rhymes, illustrated by Melanie Hall; and What is Science?, illustrated by Sachiko Yoshikawa.
