Unbreakable Bonds: A Journey of Love and Friendship

AUTHOR Gailey, Helen
PUBLISHER Writers Branding LLC (03/26/2024)
PRODUCT TYPE Paperback (Paperback)

Description

Book Synopsis: Unbreakable Bonds is the story of an unusual friendship between Betsy, a servant, and Catherine, an aristocrat, who through a series of misadventures, fall victim to 18th Century English law. Catherine, a noblewoman, born to power and privilege, makes an impetuous choice that takes both her servant, and herself, into a storm of trial, scorn, and tribulation.

The story is a tale of loyalty and love as much as it's a tale of the injustices and harrowing realities of life at the time. Hope becomes a prevalent theme throughout; a quiet virtue that guides the women through unbearable adversity into a compelling drama about real practices of the time. None of their struggles make a dent in the profound love and friendship the two women feel for each other.

Autobiography: I attended the University of Ballarat in my late 40's where I completed a degree in Professional Writing and Editing. Over the course of several decades, I have written several short stories, but this is my first book of this length. I have always had a passion for writing. I live in Tucson, Arizona with my husband who I met online. I am Australian by birth and have two adult sons and one grandson living in Australia. I visit them as finances will allow.
