What is knowledge?

It is said that knowledge is anything that gives us good thoughts, anything that makes us speak good words, anything that motivates us to do good deeds, anything that keeps us from going astray, something that protects us, something that frees us from evil deeds. - This is the way of thinking of the cultivator. The highest knowledge is to attain enlightenment in bliss. All knowledge other than that is inferior knowledge.
