Ol' Smokey was the happiest toy train in the world when he was doing what he was made for, being run on a train layout by someone who loves him. He did not like being stored in a box, waiting for some young child to enjoy playing with him. Then one day the worst thing happened. He was sold back to the train store and put on a shelf for many years. Nobody wanted him. Eventually he was taken off the shelf, reunited with his owner, and placed on a real train layout once again. He felt good to be home again.
