Palataka written by Rabindranath Tagore in 1918. Tagore published his political work Palataka (The Fugitive) which tells of his rebellious nature reflected in the narrative verse on the incidents and stories experienced by the poet himself. In Palataka, the poet is deeply rooted in the earthly life, its fleeting emotions: joys and sorrows
