The book contains several popular short stories of the author, which had been widely read all over the world in several languages like English, Spanish, Assamese, Bengali, Bodo and others. One of the stories has been adapted for a trilingual full length feature film being produced in Spanish-English-Assamese. Lately, three stories of the author have been incorporated in the syllabus of MA(English) course by Manonmaniam Sundaranar University in Tamilnadu state in India.
