Soon Im had left Seoul by herself when she was in her late 20's. She wanted a life in the United States by way of Canada which was a big land with many opportunities. During her journey, she encountered many difficulties because of little money, lack of experience and differences of cultures, but her dream never withered in spite of many obstacles.
