This is a six-chapter emotional word journey of how The Rose grew a garden from the painful flowers life has given her in the form of abuse, heartbreak, death, depression, pain, mental illness, and trauma. She numbed herself, stumbling through life collecting broken relationships- breaking in the process until one day she awakened needing to speak. Reveling in her sexual identity and love of words she also began embracing her racial identity. This process is the art you see here, but it is not solely for herself. Her wish is to begin to heal by embracing the power of words thus defining the human experience; emotions.
