15:1 Allora Mosè e gli Israeliti cantarono questo cantico al Signore e dissero: Io canterò al Signore, perché ha trionfato gloriosamente, ha gettato in mare il cavallo e il suo cavaliere.

15:1 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.

15:2 L'Eterno è la mia forza e il mio canto, ed egli è divenuto la mia salvezza; egli è il mio Dio, e io gli preparerò una dimora; l'Iddio di mio padre, e io lo esalterò.

15:2 The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.

15:3 L'Eterno è un guerriero, l'Eterno è il suo nome.

15:3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.

15:4 Ha gettato in mare i carri di Faraone e il suo esercito, e anche i suoi capitani scelti sono annegati nel Mar Rosso.

15:4 Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.

15:5 Gli abissi li hanno ricoperti, sono sprofondati nel fondo come una pietra.

15:5 The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.

15:6 La tua destra, o Eterno, è divenuta gloriosa in potenza; la tua destra, o Eterno, ha fatto a pezzi il nemico.

15:6 Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.
