Siddhartha was loved by everyone

Siddhartha was deur almal geliefd

He was a source of joy for everybody

he was a delight for them all

hy was 'n plesier vir hulle almal

But he, Siddhartha, was not a source of joy for himself

Maar hy, Siddhartha, was nie vir homself 'n bron van vreugde nie

he found no delight in himself

hy het geen behae in homself gevind nie
