Alan Edwards was a judge for many years with the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy in Great Britain and also frequently judged at international events. With his ex-wife, June, Alan bred British Shorthairs, Oriental Shorthairs, Siamese and Silver Persians under the prefix "Taliesin", which was granted to them in 1970.
