The new musical Stories of Shri-Satya-Narayan Vrat are composed by Ratnakar and presented along with the divine stories narrated by Bhagavan Vyas Muni, in the Reva Khand of the Skand Puran.

Keeping Vyasa Muni's writing as the ultimate truth, the new stories are narrated to answer the readers' questions and remove their doubts, confusion and misunderstanding. While reading these stories, the readers who have already known the stories from other sources, will notice the positive difference. In the present stories, there is no fantastic or incongruous description. Care is also taken to meticulously include the contemporary finer details of each scene in each story.

While writing the stories, it is specifically understood that while giving protection, the Lord does not let any harm or destruction cause to the innocent people and their property, during the process of temporarily punishing the devotees for their good. One may find these stories a bit different at the conclusion, where the Lord restores any apparent harm caused to the people and property. For this particular good reason, my new "Shr&-Satya-Nārāyan Vrat Kathā" are a bit different than you will read it anywhere else.
