Dawn Cornelio received her PhD in French from University of Connecticut. Her thesis was based on translating the poetry of Jean-Michel Maulpoix. Since 2002 she has been assistant professor of French Studies at University of Guelph (Ontario). Her translations have appeared in various literary journals.
