There are over one hundred sources in the "Institute of Manuscripts of Republic of Azerbaijan's Academy of Sciences" about the Russo- Iran Wars. But in Iran, due to lack of Iranian historians' access to the Russian and Caucasus resources, these valuable works have still not been used by Iranian Historiography of the period of the war between Iran and Russia. From the most prominent of these resources, we can refer to the seven-volume history of Azerbaijan, which is written by professors and authors of Azerbaijan's Academy of Sciences. Also we should refer to the rich collection of historical documents entitled as a "collection of historical documents of the Caucasus" (A. K. A. K). This great, precious and unique collection, which is about 15 thousand pages, is already stored in the state library of Akhundov in Baku. The Author of this book had access to all the resources, and in addition to Persian sources, he has also used Russian, Turkish and English sources.
