Barrington Wright is a native Jamaican. In this novel, he is your tour guide through a segment of Jamaica's overgrown pathway to freedom, where some people were trapped at the bottom of the social pyramid. He obtained his formal education in Kingston, London, Montreal and in New York City, where he received a postgraduate degree in Public Administration. He retired from public service as Assistant Commissioner at New York City's Department of Housing Preservation and Development.
