To offer extended practice of the short readings introduced in each lesson, Lekti Kreyl Liv Etidyan has three Activity Books that can be used by beginning, intermediate, and advanced Haitian Creole students. This is the third activity book (Liv Aktivite 3) and a quick glance at the table of content reveals activities such as: Fraz Mele/Gaye (Scrambled Sentences), Paje Revizyon (Review Page), Mo Kle Enptan (Important Key Words), Sinonim/Antonim (Synonym/Antonym), Rekont Son (Recognize Sounds), Svi ak Mo Nouvo (Use New Words), Rechch Mo (Worsearch) every now and then so that the intermediate high and advanced students can practice and advance comfortably while moving from the first to the twenty fifth topic. While the activities are often similar in format, the focus changes from one activity to another. The main areas of focus are Vb (Verbs), Vb ak ekspresyon (Verbs and expressions) and Vokabil (Vocabulary). These activities are meant to be an extension of the activities in the student's book. All the words encountered in the reading part of a lesson reappear throughout the activities until complete mastery of both meaning and use of the words. This time students do more demanding tasks with the words such as, finding synonyms of some words, using the words in their own sentences and scrambled sentences activities, where students need to place words of scrambled sentences in the correct order. The teacher can follow the order of the activities in the activity book or design their own order but there are a lot of activities to allow each student or group of students to work on a different activity while practicing the same words.
